Just a note on Arrow arc.

The Lower the arc the better.

A Flatbow under its normal arc is bad- so easy to dodge it isn't funny, becuase it has to go through this HUGE arcing pattern before the arrow falls down on you.

True, but also consider that longer range, higher arc bows are far better than short range flat arc bows for pulling mobs of enemies towards you.

Best to have a range of bows if you're planning on being a true ranger

If you use Read The Wind/and or Favorable Winds it eliminates the high arc

If I may add something,

When you need range, a longbow is as good as (mostly better than) a flatbow since they have the same range.

When you need to rain down on that ugly guy over the hill in between, yes, flatbow comes in handy with its high arc.
